Interesting contrast btweeen our almost simultaneous posts! :)As you can see, I disagree at the very least, with the 1% donation. I shall read more later to see how much else I need to take issue with! For me the 1% is incredibly easy decision. I can give 1% to someone who actually appears to helping people or I can give it to the government who appear to be wasting it. Derrr. If I don't give it to the charity, will the government realise that they should be doing more themselves. No. The result will just be more money for the gov to piss away and less for the charity to help folk.Sure, I could go burn myself in the street instead to make some kind of principled stand, or whatever, but for most people on the planet I think that's asking too much.But hey, if you feel strongly enough about it, darth, and you're ever short of petrol .. ;)
