Brytyjskie media zachwycone wnuczką Thatcher!

W środę w Londynie odbył się pogrzeb byłej premier Wielkiej Brytanii, Margaret Thatcher. Na medialnej uroczystości zjawili się najważniejsi ludzie w kraju. Nie mogło także zabraknąć rodziny Żelaznej Damy. Wśród nich była ulubiona wnuczka Thatcher, Amanda.

19-latka została poproszona, by odczytała w kościele fragment Listu do Efezjan. Brytyjskie media i opinia publiczne są zachwycone wystąpieniem Amandy przed 2 tysiącami zgromadzonych. Spodobał im się jej spokój i opanowanie. Gdy jeden z polityków pogratulował jej wystąpienia, bez większego zastanowienia odpowiedziała: Mam to we krwi.

Podczas ceremonii Amanda usiadła obok brata, ojca, Sir Marka Thatchera, syna byłej premier, jego drugiej żony Sarah oraz cioci Carol.

Amanda mieszka obecnie z matką w Teksasie. W październiku rozpoczęła studia na Uniwersytecie Richmond w Wirginii.
